Thank you for visiting. This profile page is for my economic and foreign policy interests, which center on industrial policy, trade flows, and public opinion on trade & globalization.

I was previously a consultant with the Atlantic Council’s geoeconomics center. Before that, I was lucky to learn from great people at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where I worked on the 2022 Chicago Council Survey, and the Bipartisan Policy Center. I have additionally been affiliated with the Pacific Chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (read: I’m a polling nerd).

I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for over twenty years, where I serve as chair of Seattle’s Community Technology Advisory Board and on the Board of Parks & Recreation Commissioners.

Other work areas

I contributed research to the Atlantic Council’s work on the consequences of a US default, Chinese financial stability, central banks’ wartime role, economic implications of conflicts in the Middle East, and the accuracy of recession forecasts

When I was a university student, I was Editor in Chief of the Jackson School Journal of International Studies. Apart from publishing academic papers, I interviewed Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch and then-HASC Chair Adam Smith for the Journal’s insights section.
